Take me I'm yours, now I'm comin' up for air
Every morning I do yoga. It helps with my stress, and evens me out before sitting in front of a computer all day. Lately, it seems I am getting lazy with my routine. This site has a ton of poses, with explainations and pictures! Very informative. However this particular one is making me crack up.
Cause you know, without the animation, we would just never know how to do it. Of course, 'Corpse' is the best pose of all. Zzzz...
I'm curious, what do you do to relieve stress? Eat? Fly fishing?

My sweet tooth usually kicks in when I'm stressed. I wish the urge to exercise kicked in instead.
I'm with nanette on this one; stress strikes and the sweets and carbs monster takes over. which only leads to more stress about all the damage done...
It's not pretty.
Maybe I'm missing something, but when I tried Yoga it just seemed like all we were doing was stretching. I'm sure it was just me.
Yeah, pelvic tilts are hard to explain...try teaching kids to do them! I always have to demonstrate.
As for relieving stress...gee, well it should be through exercise, but lately is just by crying and sleeping.
I used to do yoga before I was pregnant - it does feel good.
When I had my son I would do a few yoga stretches before I nursed him just so I would have energy to stay awake-- haha...now I wait until we have a "girls" day out and get massages (not enough of those though).
Eating fattening foods like (garlic fingers, nachos, blizzards) and doing some impulse shopping work for me!
walking or running.
far, far away from my kids.
Like you I loves me some yoga...and don't do it. I loves me some basic beginner tae bo...and don't do it.
I can't seem to relieve any stress right now (you know some of the backstory and parts are better and others are far worse). So I seem to be able to only do part of what Jodi's doing. Sleeping (which is hard with this cough) and distracting myself with a neat new guy. I got no more cry left. And it stinks. Thanks for asking.
I'm with Kim, there's just too much stretching in yoga, I find it kinda stressful.
My relaxation method of choice is watching craptastic tv like Laguna Beach or 80's videos on youtube.
