When you find youself in danger,
When you're threatened by a stranger,
When it looks like you will take a lickin'

In the battle of Jenn vs. the poops, the poops are winning. The Kid stayed home from school today cause he had the JPs ('juicy poops', as my brother calls it). Also I just couldn't figure out how to tell his teachers not to give him milk. "Why?" "Just don't." "Why not?" "There will be repercussions."

So I stayed home with him and we played pirates (his idea) and watched Food Network (my idea). He is on the BRAT diet, which sounds gross, and isn't working at all. I also made him some soup to ease the pain. I make this soup a lot cause it's easy, but especially when there is sickness in the house (read: ALWAYS). It's quick and I don't even consider it a recipe, more like a throw together.

When the kids are well, I serve it up with some yummy Croque Monsieur and they are happy little boys. Cause everyone knows happy boys love melted cheese. Except when they've got the JPs.

Unfortunately, we've been having the OPPOSITE in poopy problems at my house. I spiked her chicken salad with raisins today and snuck some olive oil into her dessert (it tasted weird, but she ate it). ARGH.

JP's...heh.

Thankfully the antibiotic-caused JP's are no longer a visitor at our house and things are once again on 'solid' ground. Hee.

Hope your little guy feels better soon!
