Do the dew.

What would you do if a pregnant chick called you up on a weeknight and said, "Drive me to a bar." Well, it'd depend on the pregnant chick. Not to drink of course, but to have fun and meet up with lots of cool people we know.

Recently, I talked about my affinity for boat rides at D*land, cause I can get my nap on. If you haven't heard, they are revamping It's a Small World. Changing out some scenes, adding well known animated characters. I happen to be one of those in the 'oh no they di'int' camp, because I think it's wrong to mess with the original intent of world peace and the characters created by one of my favorite artists, Mary Blair. That being said, the other part of the redo is because...AMERICA HAS A FAT ASS. The boats can't handle the load. 'We'll need a bigger boat', indeed.

You know how I am about showing my face on the internet. Stalkers can shove it. Now I can just buy these and it's all good.

I have been getting migraines every few days. Instead of eating Excedrin for dinner as I have been, I was told that I should "Drink a Mountain Dew as fast as you can." Good lord. This can only mean good things for my future in extreme sports.

Something weird is going on. Recently my inbox is FILLED with emails from strangers. It's like y'all decided to come out of the woodwork at once. I really appreciate it, I do, and I have recently started to check my stats on the regular because of this. Lo and behold, the number of readers on this here blog has doubled over the past year. (and I had a lot to begin with.) Yikes. 'Course we all know why you stop by, in case I decide to give away free stuff. And therefore, yes, you will be rewarded. You have two days to get your courage up, lurkers (and regulars). There will be a giveaway at the end of the week.

The best part of the glasses add is the note at the bottom.

And sadly, America has literally become the lard***, of the world.

Giveaways? There's giveaways? I thought you just gave out free recipes and Disney advice! I'll be back if you're giving away pineapple upside down cupcakes...although I think I actually have all of those ingredients on hand, so maybe I'll have me a warm one this weekend:)

Hooray for preggo-driving partiers! You still don't have me convinced about Disneyland being manageable. Next time I'm going drunk.

If I get pregnant, I just hope you send me cupcakes. :) (This is not happening for a very long time though. Probably never.)

Why don't they redo Pirates of the Carribean and make it not stinky? I'd like that.

I once got yelled at in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride because I was reaching for some fake booty. And by "fake booty" I mean plastic coins, not Kim Kardashian.

Freaked my 14-year-old brain that I was on night-vision surveillance camera. And "YOU! THE PALE KID WITH THE BOWL CUT! KEEP YOUR HANDS INSIDE THE BOAT!" coming over the p.a. system still haunts me.

I just started reading your blog, and I didn't know there were give-aways! I'm hoping for the pineapple-upsidedown cupcakes, too.

I think it is hilarious that It's A Small World is being remodeled because the flume is too shallow to handle America's weight gain - can you imagine having to be the cast member that has to tell people "I'm sorry ma'am, you are too large to ride"? Too bad they can't leave well enough alone with the content though. And Ren - I totally agree with you on the office ceilings and carpet issues - but my husband loves it unconditionally and I'm not allowed to complain.

I think the Mountain Dew is not the best advice.

Caffeine makes migraines go away. This is good.

However, it means they come back later, looking for more caffeine and suddenly you're up until five in the morning but you have no headache.

So, take it easy on the caf, no need to chug the whole thing quickly. Have some coffee or tea and relax a bit, stress also causes migraines. You should bake and take the kids to the park.

I come for the pictures of cupcakes; free stuff is just a bonus.

Am eagerly anticipating the weekend so I can crack out my apron and make the pineapple upside down cupcakes.

last time I was @ disney, we kept getting held up in Small World b/c of the heavy load - family of 4 - in the boat ahead of us. It would have been funny if it weren't so damned sad! The worst part was they were just pushing themselves along as their boat scraped bottom. ugh.
