Wait a minute Mr. Postman
My mailman rang my doorbell and said, "I was just checking if you were OK cause I saw all your medical bills." Jigga, what? Stop looking through my shit, thanks.
I do have a lot of bills and they are only getting worse. I just went to my dentist - oral surgeon, actually - (don't get me started on that bill) and he asked what I've been up to. I told him I lost my job and while I have less stress, it's certainly been hard. Just so happens he needed 50 basketball cupcakes for an end of the year team party. I was happy to oblige.
I took it one step further and added the team color and spelled out the team name in cupcakes. I made 25 lemon and 25 brown sugar. They turned out pretty cute. Hopefully the kids liked them.
Yeah, I should be resting but why rest when I can bake myself into the grave? If I die, I'll have my mailman let you know.

you are hysterical (as in VERY funny). Love to read your blog. Hope those cupcakes were in lieu of the dentist bill! I sent you, via email, the baking accomplishments of someone I know who lives in Berkeley. You are both fabulous bakers.
