I once was blind
Today the Kid got the gift that keeps on giving. DOUBLE PINK EYE! Fan-freakin'-tastic. The thing is earlier in the day I saw other kids at school rubbin' their eyes, it was a sign. A bad sign.
So poor mini Ray Charles and I were trapped at home. Scarlet lettered and shunned by society. I don't blame them, I didn't want to go near him myself for fear that I'd get it.
To ease the pain I made breakfast for dinner. The most comforting of comfort foods: pancake and bacon. But not just any pancakes, OVALTINE PANCAKES. And not just any bacon, BROWN SUGAR CINNAMON BACON. Oh the loveliness.
After a day of rest and medication he seems to be on the road to recovery, though if you ask me it's the pancakes that cured him.
