Knott's Camp Spooky

Halloween is one of my favorite times of year but really, I’m quite the scaredy cat. I love the candy and costumes but the horror, not so much. My kids are the same way and even commercials for scary Halloween nights make this holiday slightly terrifying.
Luckily there are great Halloween alternatives for things to do in Southern California and Knott’s Berry Farm has a long history of family friendly fun. During weekends in October Knott’s Berry Farm’s Camp Snoopy becomes Knott’s Camp Spooky, a daytime non-scare event that’s more cheer than fear!

There are themed activites like "Snoopy’s Costume Contest," an interactive maze and even a "Creepy Crawly Critter Cave" with real critters. Hm. That might be too much for me, but the kids will love it! "Scary Stories at the Lodge" and "Kooky Cookie Painting" round out the festive entertainment.

Knott’s Camp Spooky encourages costumes and no Halloween fest is complete without sweets! Knott’s offers five trick or treat locations inside Camp Spooky to fill up your complimentary gift bag.
I’m a huge Peanuts fan and all the characters look adorable in their Halloween outfits! Knott’s always offers up some of the best theme park family fun and Camp Spooky is a great seasonal event for kids aged 3-11!

Camp Spooky starts on October 5 and runs weekends through October 27 and is included with regular park admission. Knott's Berry Farm theme park hours are 10:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Keep up to date with Knott's Berry Farm online at, on twitter @knotts and on facebook.
